Our Seniors, originally from Pennsylvania, were married for a remarkable 74 years. In high school, the couple were both members of the National Honor Society. Later, the bride entered nursing school where she was president of her class and continued her nursing career for 60 years. Her groom proudly served his country by joining the Air Force in 1948. After leaving the Air Force, he joined the corporate world and the pair then moved all around the country. After retirement, their final move was to Reno in 1989 where they loved horse race betting, spoiling their pet cats and spending time with family."
