Wow! Those are great deals, Josh.

I'm a little gun shy at buying some stuff for resale, but I do purchase college textbooks at garage sales for resale. I can check the used value on the spot with my iPhone, so there's really no risk.

These are recent finds:

Found a limited edition Pearl (brand name) snare drum. Owner's kid didn't want it anymore so she sold it for $20. I posted it on Craigslist and had it sold within a day for $150.

Bought a box of 60 rare Contemporary Christian CD's for $100 for the whole box. Broke them up and sold them individually on EBAY for around $15 each for total near $900!!!!

Sheila & Crew -

Thank You for A Great Neighborhood Garage Sale!!! You guys are the best. I had a very successful sale and got rid of alot of unnecessary items from my house.

Your organization of the sale was very impressive, from the signs, website, directional signs ........even to the doughnuts. It was all great and I thank you very much for all your time & effort.

You are the BEST!!!

I've got some fabulous deals over the years, but last week my husband spotted a Series 2 TiVo. He parked himself next to it until I arrived so he could point it out to me. (smart man!)

The lady manning the table didn't know anything about the unit as this was a church sale and people had dropped stuff off for sale. She sold it to me for $5.

OMG! I already have an identical TiVo with a lifetime service contract, so $5 for a machine if only to be on hand for parts would have been awesome.

It gets even better. I took it home, plugged it in and IT HAS LIFETIME SERVICE. Hot dog! It even came with the remote. It works perfectly. About the only thing wrong with it is a slight cosmetic "issue" (it doesn't have the little tivo decal on the front).

Anyway, to date, my best deal!
