And since I love taking my grandkids fishing (all 16 of them 😳), I need a whole lot of worms. For some reason, my best worm-digging happens in the afternoons, so beginning with this sale our hours will be 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and we’ll be closing the doors promptly at NOON!
That gives me all Friday afternoon to dig for Saturday’s worms and all Saturday afternoon to dig for Sunday’s worms. Priorities.
We entice the fish with chunks of bread, so I always bring plenty along. The upside? On those days when the fish aren’t biting and the grandkids start complaining of hunger and “malnutrition,” I can quickly slap together a fresh worm sandwich for each of them. Shuts ’em up immediately.
And when you’re feeding sixteen kids, it really helps the budget — stale bread and free worms… it just doesn’t get much cheaper than that! 😂
