Join Furniture Market Auctions and World of Decor Auctions at IMS High Point for two days of live bidding on premium furnishings, designer market samples, outdoor collections, lighting, sculpture, and extraordinary décor from around the world.
Explore more than 125,000 square feet of showroom space, with offerings from over 100 manufacturers representing 32 countries. The online catalog includes 3,000+ lots, with additional merchandise expected as participating showrooms bring samples to IMS.
High Point Market is open to the trade. Our IMS sample auction is open to the public.
Some pieces are new introductions that have never reached retail floors. Others may never enter regular production. This is your opportunity to discover furniture and décor that stand apart from the familiar selections found everywhere else.
Whether you are furnishing your home, designing for a client, opening a restaurant, or looking for one unforgettable statement piece, make this a weekend to explore.
The Thrill of a Live Auction—Brought Into Your Home The auctioneer calls for the next bid. The cameras move in for a closer look. George explains the craftsmanship behind a remarkable piece. Something unexpected comes across the block—and suddenly, you can picture exactly where it belongs.
This is the High Point Market Sample Auction, live from the showroom.
Our multicamera webcast, 4K video production, and professional audio bring you into the action alongside real auctioneers and ringmen. Watch the merchandise, hear the details, and compete live from your phone, tablet, or computer.
See the pieces presented: Get a closer look as merchandise is offered.
Hear what makes them special: Learn about materials, construction, finishes, and craftsmanship.
Join the conversation: Use live chat to ask questions, make requests, and communicate with the auction team.
Stay for the discoveries: New additions, miscellaneous finds, special giveaways, and live announcements make both days worth watching.
Join us BOTH Saturday and Sunday at 1 PM Eastern. Explore the catalog beforehand, but be ready for discoveries as the sale unfolds.
Make It a Live-Auction Weekend at Home Register in advance, sign in, and enter the webcast when it opens at 12:30 PM Eastern. Confirm that your event registration is approved and your bidding controls are available before your favorites are offered.
Turn on the video and sound. If your devices support it, AirPlay or cast the auction video to your television while bidding from your phone, iPad, or laptop.
Enjoy the show on the big screen and keep your bidding controls close at hand. Follow the live bidding interface when placing bids: streamed video and audio may lag behind the auction.
Watch with George—and Discover the Story Behind the Craftsmanship Some things cannot be appreciated from a photograph alone.
Join George, owner and founder, whose lifetime of sourcing has taken him in search of extraordinary furnishings, distinctive materials, and craftsmanship from around the world.
Listen as he explains how a piece was made, the materials used, its features, and the details that distinguish it. Discover carved surfaces, substantial bronze work, unusual finishes, and techniques you might otherwise overlook.
If you have attended one of our events, you know how much his knowledge brings to the experience. If this is your first auction with us, turn up the sound and discover why buyers return.
Your home should have its own personality—and it should never have to look like everyone else’s.
Turn Your Home Into an Estate Imagine monumental entry pieces, sculpted lions, a magnificent bronze, or a fountain welcoming your guests. Picture an outdoor dining space made for entertaining, a handcrafted table that anchors your home, or lighting that transforms a room.
Explore the Premium Auction Catalog Grand entrances and gardens: large-scale statuary, lions, marble pieces, bronzes, water features, gazebos, urns, and outdoor décor.
Beautifully furnished rooms: bedroom collections, living room furniture, sofa sets, round dining tables, formal dining, and occasional furniture.
Outdoor living: patio dining sets, club chairs, ottomans, conversation seating, and distinctive garden furnishings.
Handcrafted character: teak, rustic and mountain-home décor, carved details, and distinctive natural materials.
Finishing touches: artwork, rugs, lighting, mirrors, whimsical creations, and unusual accessories.
Commercial statement pieces: furnishings and décor for restaurants, hotels, venues, and businesses that want to be remembered.
Come looking for one piece. Leave with ideas for an entire property.
Request Your Favorites Before the Live Sale With thousands of items available, this auction operates by request, rather than a guaranteed numerical selling order. Requests help our team focus on the pieces bidders want to purchase.
Online Bidders Place the opening bid on the items you want offered. That opening bid is your request. It tells our team to locate the merchandise and prepare it for the live auction.
A watch-list selection alone does not request an item. Place your opening bids early, leave maximum bids where appropriate, and join the webcast to compete live.
In-Person Bidders Register online in advance, then ask for your bidder-number printout and request tags when you arrive. Walk the showroom and place your tags on the pieces you would like offered.
Opening Bids and Passed Items Opening bids are generally expected to start at 10%–20% of the stated MSRP. Competitive bidding determines the final selling price.
Please request items you are ready to bid on at the required opening amount. This helps us use the available auction time effectively and reach more of the merchandise buyers are waiting to purchase.
If an item is offered and does not receive the required opening bid, it will be passed. Passed items will not be brought back later that day; they may be offered at a subsequent sale. Bid before the auctioneer passes the item.
Opening bids are real bids. Requested items that we can bring to the stage or offer from the screen will be offered for live bidding. Requests do not guarantee a selling time or that every requested item will be reached.
Being the current high bidder online does not mean the item has been sold to you. A purchase is completed only when the item is offered and awarded during the live auction. Review your final invoice to confirm your purchases.
Bid from Anywhere in the Continental USA—We Handle Shipping You do not have to live nearby or arrange your own freight to participate.
We arrange delivery of your purchases to your home or business throughout the continental United States. From furniture to substantial decorative pieces, our staff handles packing and shipment from start to finish.
Buyers receive our negotiated carrier rates at our cost. Our longstanding carrier relationships help us offer discounted transportation rates, backed by our lowest-delivery-price guarantee. Contact our team before bidding if you would like to discuss your location or delivery requirements.
     Request shipping for your purchases.
Our staff professionally packs your order and determines its shipment dimensions and weight.
We provide a transportation quote for approval.
Once approved, we arrange shipment and bill the approved shipping charges to the card on file.
A 5% packing and handling fee applies to invoices requiring shipping. This covers preparation and protective materials such as cushioning, pallets, and wrapping. Transportation charges are additional.
Orders usually ship within 7–10 days after shipping-quote approval. This is the usual dispatch timeframe, not a guaranteed delivery date. Carrier transit time is additional.
North Carolina Pickup and Florida Transfers Pickup is available at IMS in Jamestown, North Carolina. Contact our staff to confirm that your purchases are ready before traveling.
Transfer to another company facility, including our Orlando warehouse for Florida pickup, is available by arrangement for $100 per invoice. This is a facility-to-facility transfer fee, not delivery to your home or business. Confirm the receiving location and pickup availability with our team.
