The master bedroom offers a wonderful mix of vintage and contemporary fashion, designer handbags, beautiful textiles, and antique treasures. Among the highlights are a charming petite 1950s wedding dress with a bow at the waist, a beautiful vintage black Coach lunchbox style handbag in excellent condition, additional Coach and Dooney & Bourke handbags, and an ornate antique steel microbead evening bag.
The vintage clothing collection includes colorful 1970s Nik Nik men's shirts, several Scottish wool tartan kilts, chunky 1980s knit sweaters, including festive Christmas designs, and a distinctive Painted Pony artisan animal vest. The closet also contains a varied selection of vintage women's clothing, including dresses, pantsuits, sweaters, and outerwear. Brands include Jones New York, Kate Hill, Liz Claiborne, Charter Club, and Draper's & Damon's. Outdoor apparel includes Eddie Bauer, Columbia, REI, and L.L.Bean, along with a London Fog trench coat.
A separate collection of contemporary women's clothing includes swimsuits, athleisure, casual wear, dresses, sweaters, and coats, with Banana Republic among the brands represented. An extensive scarf collection features vintage retro prints, a variety of silk scarves, including one by Laurel Burch, as well as pashminas and alpaca scarves. Beautiful Chinese silk embroidered pillows featuring cranes, along with an assortment of antique keepsakes, including delicate christening gowns, tiny leather baby shoes, a hand-stitched cross-stitch bib, and a 1920s satin boudoir sleeping cap with floral embroidery and lace.
