An Extraordinary Estate: The Life, Art & Collection of Leonard P. Good (1907–2000)
Swan Estate Sales is honored to present the extraordinary estate of Leonard P. Good, celebrated Oklahoma artist, longtime University of Oklahoma professor and curator of paintings at the OU Museum of Art, and former chairman of the Art Department at Drake University.
Good’s distinguished career spanned more than six decades, with studies and travels throughout the United States, Mexico, and Europe. His work was exhibited nationally, including at the prestigious Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
This exceptional estate features original paintings, drawings, and prints by Good from the 1920s through the 1990s, alongside works by distinguished artists, teachers, and contemporaries connected to his remarkable career.
Beyond the fine art, the estate offers an extensive collection of fine Japanese pottery, porcelain, traditional dishware, and Japanese literature.
Additional highlights include signed studio pottery, Murano glass, signed artisan glasswork, rare and unusual books, and historical art materials—an eclectic collection reflecting a lifetime devoted to art, culture, and collecting.
