HUGE SALE with tons of merchandise in the front yard, on the porch, upstairs and downstairs.
We anticipate jewelry, glassware, small appliances, kitchen equipment, dishes, art and decor, lamps, furniture, bikes, antiques and antique furniture, toys, baby supplies, books for adults and children, household and holiday decorations, linens (tablecloths, napkins, bedspreads, sheets), purses, scarves, shoes, tools, rugs and women’s and children’s fall/winter clothing.
PREVIEW SALE -- $5 entry fee -- Thursday, Sept. 17, from 5 - 7:30 p.m.
REGULAR SALE -- free admission -- Friday, Sept. 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, Sept.19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Proceeds benefit The Woman’s Club of Albany, a non-profit organization founded in 1910 to improve conditions for women and children in Albany. The club is the owner/steward of the historic Madison Avenue house built in 1895 for Albany clothier Joseph Steefel and his wife Hattie. The house is used for club gatherings and community programs and is available as a rental venue.
Please note: This annual sale is taking place one week later than usual. The house is ADA accessible on the first floor only.
