Tony Oswald (1928-2021), a local Louisville artist who primarily worked in realism, making lithographs, watercolors, ink and pen drawings and is famous for his art of Kentucky scenery and The Derby. He achieved international recognition for his Derby paintings after CBS featured his still painting during their broadcast of the 1973 Kentucky Derby.
