A LITTLE DIFFERENT FROM OUR USUAL ESTATE SALES… If you’re new to our site, we want to explain up front that this sale is NOT how we normally conduct our sales. These are unusual circumstances, and our main goal is simply to help the owner’s family get everything taken care of as quickly as possible. Our team has already spent DAYS cleaning and clearing the house and filled TWO dumpsters just getting it to this point. The house may still look a little rough around the edges, but we have worked incredibly hard to get it cleaned and ready for the sale. A FEW THINGS TO KNOW: There is NO AIR CONDITIONING in the house, so please dress accordingly. It may be hot! The home previously had one or two cats. The house has been thoroughly cleaned and there are NO smells or odors. However, I have severe cat allergies and unfortunately cannot spend much time inside the home. VERY FEW ITEMS WILL BE PRICED BEFORE THE SALE. Most likely, only some of the furniture will be priced ahead of time. We need to get this sale completed ASAP, so please come prepared for a TRUE TREASURE HUNT! WHAT WE'VE SEEN SO FAR… We have only had a chance to peek into some of the boxes, so we honestly don't know everything that is here. That's what makes this one so interesting! ELECTRONICS: PlayStations, Xbox, computers, cameras, stereo components and lots of other electronics. FURNITURE: Dining room set, pub-height table and chairs, bedroom sets, office furniture and more. CLOTHING: The closets are packed with men's and women's clothing, and we've already spotted some designer shoes. KITCHEN: Portmeirion dishes, small kitchen appliances, pots and pans, and quite a few items that appear to be NEW IN THE BOX. LIGHTING: We found NEW Dale Tiffany tulip lamps still in their boxes! BOOKS & MEDIA: Boxes of books, DVDs and who knows what else. GARAGE: The garage is PACKED! We will be pulling boxes out of the garage the morning of the sale. We have NO IDEA what is inside many of those boxes, so you're going to have to dig! COME TREASURE HUNTING! This is definitely NOT a polished, perfectly staged estate sale. It's a digging, discovering, making-piles, treasure-hunting kind of sale. Come out, sweat a little, dig through some boxes, make some piles and see what you can take home! We have a feeling there are going to be some GREAT FINDS hiding in this house. Most importantly, thank you for being understanding. We know this sale is different from our normal sales, but we're doing our best to help this family through an unusual situation and get everything cleared as quickly as possible.
