WELCOME TO OUR LAWRENCE VINTAGE HOME!!

ART:
Beatrice Glaubman (the mother of the homeowner), discovered painting while recovering from an illness in her 50's. She enjoyed working with pastels, oils, and other mediums throughout her life. Her specialty was painting floral motifs, and she was able to adorn hats, purses, diaper bags, jewelry, and walking canes with beautiful flower arrangements. She even painted hard hats at one time! Her artwork was featured at many galleries and art shows throughout the 1970's and 1980's, and her family continued to cherish her work after her death. Mrs. Glaubman's art has also been used for holiday cards, birthday and wedding invitations, and assorted greeting cards throughout the years.

The extensive Lladro collection was owned by the homeowner's mother. It was acquired throughout a period of over 40 years, and was displayed in homes in Florida and New York. The collection continued to grow with future generations, who maintained the original interest in the magnificent pieces, which came to represent important milestones within the family. The pieces were given to represent weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, the birth of children, and the celebration of the family's Jewish heritage.
