Thrift Shop Estate Sale! Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, November 22nd, 23rd, and 24th. 4134A Alby St. The shop runs parallel with E Delmar going towards Dick's Flowers. Please be courteous of how you parking in the available parking lot. Entry will be in the first door, which will be marked as door "1/ENTRY", and exiting will be through the main door that will be marked as "2/EXIT". We are hosting an estate sale at our thrift shop in Alton, IL. Due to the economy and recent e lections, our shop has suffered as many other small businesses have. We are hosting this sale in order to raise funds to keep our shop running. We take in donations at our shop, but we also make a lot of donations in general. We donate to individuals, families, organizations, and other thrift shops. We have assisted a sobriety organization, as well as the homeless. If our doors close, it affects many people within the surrounding communities. We donate clothing, A LOT of furniture, small kitchen appliances, other kitchen items, general housewares, blankets, and anything else that we are able to donate. We will have a jar set up for financial donations. If enough funds are raised, we are going to transition into a non-profit organization, in order to qualify for grants that will allow us to continue to help our surrounding communities. We have made donations to the Granite City APA and 5A's for being able to help animals, and we recently participated in feeding the homeless.
