(This is in the Twin Oaks subdivision, which is having its subdivision-wide sale on Saturday)

This is an extensive garage sale with very good prices, designed to clear out many things in the house. It includes many antiques, tools, some Civil War relics, collectables, books, etc. Here is a partial listing. Also see the photos – which will get updated later this week.

This sale includes a wide range of antique to near modern items. A sample of these items include vintage linens, sewing-related items, and early 20th century women’s clothing parts, vintage ladies white gloves, ca. 1940s Singer sewing machine stool, some household items, many children’s books and older adult books, older high school and college yearbooks from the region, old bottles and glassware, automotive grease caps/hubcaps from the 1910s-1930s, a variety of old tools and accessories, S&H Green Stamps posters, postcards, and a wide range of 19th and 20th century ephemera. Those include newspapers (many regional) from the 1850s to mid-1900s, including some dealing with military events; some military including Civil War-related items; and booklets and brochures related to cars and travel, plants, crafts, trains, places, etc.

We will also have a 1915 Trumbull automobile in the open garage for you to see (but not buy!). This is a hand-crank start automobile. An interesting car to see.
